When I found this vintage french sideboard, I didn’t want to just paint it one colour and call it a day.
The edges deserved to be highlighted to add some emphasis to the lovely doors, which reminded me of the way I used to colour as a kid – defining the outline with a different shade.
This piece needed a lot of repair. There a deep gouge on the frontoacckbbiiiibewwvHalf of one of the legs was missing and had to be rebuilt.
I used a two part epoxy wood filler to build up the missing part of the leg. Once dry, it was sanded back to its original shape.
